I was very upset. The site said to reserve private parking, so I did. When I arrived, I found out that I only had private parking for one night even though my reservation was for two nights. I felt cheated. I did not care for the hotel room, it was out dated, especially for the price. For what I paid, I would have thought the place would have been a little more modern. Also we asked for them not to enter the room. Well the chamber maid took the towels from the bathroom and did not replace with new ones. Over all this trip was a nightmare. The city was okay, but the service at the hotel, was very questionable.

Beautiful location with fantastic view of the River Seine and the magnificent world acclaimed Notre Dame Cathedral -- the exciting hustle and bustle of Paris. The room was appointed in lovely decor, very roomy for Paris, comfortable, and even had a mini-fridge! Even though it is on a busy Paris street once you close the windows there's No noise, just peace and quiet. It is in a fantastic location for immediately being immersed in Paris, the rer, and exciting side streets filled with Fun and Life, Music and Wonder.
One of the gentleman who ran the desk was grumpy -- no one is allowed or even can fathom how to operate the coffee bean machine in the lobby but this guy would not get up from his desk to do so when the other guys on duty would do so gladly -- and there was No other business or phone call or people around when the grumpy guy would Not make coffee for us. Also, when we checked in I asked twice, to be completely clear, if the coffee was complimentary or if there was a charge for it and was told Emphatically, "No madame, there is No charge, the coffee is Free." When we checked out the grumpy guy was there and had put the coffee on our bill at 7 euros per cup!! I stated my case on this and he removed the charges -- he was disgusted-unfriendly-perturbed that the other guys he said misinformed us because the coffee is not free he said. This one man ruined our feelings about this hotel. It's so foolish to put the coffee machine in the lobby alongside complimentary magazines at a 4 star hotel and then charge for it, outrageously charge for it and make guests feel so uncomfortable and Ruin a positive impression. I'd recommend the hotel but tell about the coffee fiasco. If they want people to pay, then put out a sign with the price and that will take care of it.
